Sprinkled with Fun

Oh my goodness! I have spent the last month making several of the calendar cards for gifts. It took up a lot of my time, but now I'm ready to get back to making new cards. I've said this before, and I'm sure I will say it again, but I never seem to have birthday cards handy. So, get ready for a flow of birthday cards. This stamp came from a new set that I have been dying to use and it is begging to be a shaker card! Here are the materials I used:
  • Donut You Know stamp set by Reverse Confetti
  • regal rose ink by Stampin' Up
  • paper- birthday wishes paper pack by echo park
  • silver sequins
  • coordinating twine
Well I hope there will be more to come soon!

All the cards have the 2016 3x4 calendar by Taylored Expressions. Click here to see Karen's fantastic work and scroll down to see my take on it :)

You Glow Girl!

My sister-in-law is getting married in a few months. We went wedding dress shopping recently and I thought this would make the perfect "good to see you" kind of card. You may notice the smudge on the left side of the card. I was all the way done and picked up the card to admire my work. Big mistake. I had ink on my finger...bummer. So, this is what I added to the back of the card:
Anyway, here are the materials I used:
  • Groovy Bridal Bellas stamp by Stamping Bella
  • You Glow Girl stamp by Stamping Bella
  • Stitched Rectangle Die cuts by My Favorite Things
  • copic markers- V12, RV13, RV14, B00, B01, B23, BG13, Y00, E00, E37, N8
  • scrap patterned paper
  • coordinating silver ribbon
  • memento ink- tuxedo black

Happy Fall!

What a fun stamp set! The design team at Serendipity Stamps really did a great job of selling this set. The idea to use the corn husks in this way came from Karen Amidon. This card is for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #207 and Serendipity Stamps What's New? Challenge. PS: I really love the die cut on the inside!
