My assistant's daughter asked me to make a Valentine's Day card for her to give to her boyfriend. It always makes me feel so honored when someone thinks of me when they want a special card for someone. The sketch came from the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #304. Here is the sketch and the materials I used:
One of my resolutions for 2017 is to do a better job of actually sending the cards I make. I made this card to send to a friend that I really miss. We met in college because we were in the same cohort for the education program and geography has made it difficult to stay close. Like me, she is both young at heart and an old soul. (I swear it is possible to be both.) She will really appreciate the snail mail. Here are the materials I used:
Halloween is getting so close! We do a pumpkin pal gift exchange among the teachers at school. It is similar to secret santa, but through the month of October. Friday is the final gift exchange and pumpkin pal reveal. I drew the name of a friend that I give cards to often so I had to refrain from giving her a card with each gift so I wouldn't give away my identity! This card is going with her final gift. I made this card back in April for a basket raffle at my school. All the cards were cutsie since they were to benefit an elementary school :) More cutsie cards to come. Here are the materials I used:
The My Favorite Things witchy girl is so cute! The sketch comes from the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #289. Here's the sketch and the materials I used:

The Halloween fun continues! This bat girl is too cute! I love all the holiday girls that Impression Obsession has been coming up with in the past year. So cute! Here are the materials I used:
I love all the paper with cute little pictures, but sometimes I struggle with how to use the sheets that look "busy." I had a bunch of strips of the busier looking Halloween paper and I was tired of trying to keep up with them. So.... here is the result :) These are the materials I used:

It is just about the perfect weather for hiking and camping! The sketch for this card came from the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #283. Here is the sketch and the materials I used:
There is a story behind this card. Our school was redistricted this year and last spring we anticipated losing 5 homeroom positions. When school started back we lost 3 more homerooms and 2 special education teachers. It has been a stressful time at our school for the teachers that are "at the bottom of the totem pole," as they say. In short, our school got wrong end of the stick in the redistricting. Well one of the teachers that got moved to a different school AFTER school had already started was a personal favorite teacher of mine. I will be sending this card to her after she has time to get settled in at her new school. The sketch came from the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #284. So if the weather where you live is anything like where I live, it is nasty today!! We are barely in the winter season and I am already sick of the cold, the rain, and worst of all, indoor recess! So, for the Serendipity Stamps Stripes Challenge, I decided to go bright and cheery. Here are the materials I used:
