You're Fabulous!

Ok, back dating again on this card, but this card was for my mom on Mother's Day. My mom is nothing short of fabulous! So, she deserves a card with some pizzaz. It was no easy to task to make that border pop up so that it could be a shaker card, but she's so worth it! Here are the materials I used:

Hoppy Easter

I had fun merging these two challenges today! The sketches were very similar and the Fusion Challenge had a Pretty in Pink theme while the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #259 had a dreaming of spring theme. I tried to merge the themes, too. Here are the sketches that inspired it and the materials I used:

  • Magical Spring stamp and die cut sets by Paper Smooches
  • Springtime paper pack by Authentique
  • stitched square die cuts by My Favorite Things
  • copics- W00, W0, W1, W2, RV11
  • glossy accents (on the nose and teeth)
  • memento ink- tuxedo black and navy blue

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Ok so I'm not a big "It's St. Patty's Day! Let's go get green beer and pretend we're Irish" kind of girl. However, as a teacher, I find leprechauns and four-leaf clovers fun. While my kids are out of the room, we trash it and leave a note the Leo the Leprechaun stopped by and got into trouble. We hang backpacks from the ceiling, turn chairs over, put shaving cream on the toilet seats...It's a lot of fun! Anyway, this card is for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #258. Since it's past valentine's day, I decided to skip the optional theme this week. Here are the materials I used and the sketch:

  • Magical Spring stamp and die sets by Paper Smooches
  • leprechaun copics- E00, E08, E09, E27, E39, Y17, Y38, YR09, YR18, G05, G09, G29
  • beer glass copics- YR14, YR27, E41, B00, B01
  • Happy-Go-Lucky paper by Doodlebug Designs
  • coordinating ribbon
  • memento ink- tuxedo black
  • dark green memories fine tip pen

My assistant's niece is having a baby! It is too early to know if it is a boy or girl so I tried to do an even blend of blue and pink. This layout came from the Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #252.
