Father's Day- Henhouse

My dad's current pet project--ha!--is raising chickens in the backyard. He treats them like pets now and they sure are living the life. They've got over 100 square feet to roam around a garden and dig in the dirt. I have enjoyed the benefits of free eggs! So, this card doesn't scream Father's day for most people, but it sure does for my dad :) I also made one with a few changes to send to a friend. See it at the bottom. Here are the materials I used:

Baby Shower

The way I used this stamp came from my mom. She was telling me about using this stamp and popping out some of the presents so I just had to copy her when my assistant asked me to make a card for her niece's baby shower. Mother's Day Apron

Ok I'm back dating a little here... Mother's Day has come and gone. I looked at what I did at this time alst year and it was pretty bare then, too. May is so crazy as a teacher!! Feelin' Dirty?

HAHA! Ok I love this card! I'm very behind in posting it. I made this for my sister-in-law's lingerie shower a few weeks ago. The wedding colors were blush and charcoal gray. I was having trouble finding a good color combo, so I had to steal my mother's idea of using the invitation envelope lining. It was a perfect match for the blush paper we had! It got rave reviews from the bride and her friends. [Always a plus :)] Here are the materials I used:

Hoppy Easter

 I had fun merging these two challenges today! The sketches were very similar and the Fusion Challenge had a Pretty in Pink theme while the Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge #259 had a dreaming of spring theme. I tried to merge the themes, too.  Ok so I'm not a big "It's St. Patty's Day! Let's go get green beer and pretend we're Irish" kind of girl. However, as a teacher, I find leprechauns and four-leaf clovers fun. While my kids are out of the room, we trash it and leave a note the Leo the Leprechaun stopped by and got into trouble.
